How to reach your golf fitness potential
Increasing your golf fitness is proven to produce longer and straighter drives, and knock strokes of your scores.

But, up until recently, it was also pretty expensive - the only way to effectively increase your golf fitness was to seek professional golf lessons, which could cost as much as $200 per session.

Luckily, the last six months has seen a crop of golf fitness guides, which show how to maximise your golf potential using specific golf workout stretches and exercises - using sweat-free techniques that take 10 minutes or less to perform, without the need of a gym.

We decided to sit down and review these new guides - our key criteria were content quality, ease of use, and customer support.

Overall, we were pleasantly suprised with the results - the workout techniques evidently does work, and if you pick the right guide, you could well be ready to start in a few hours.

We reviewed 11 golf fitness guides- only 3 met our criteria:

  • Content Quality - exercise effectiveness
  • Ease of Use - in only a few hours, be ready to start
  • Customer Support (quick and helpful customer service)

"Still the best Golf Fitness Guide in 2009..."

By far the easiest-to-follow guide we came across - our own experience says you should set aside maybe half a day to go through the guide in order to get going.

This is the only guide that assumes absolutely no knowledge or experience with golf fitness techniques. Impressively, our support issue was responded to extremely quickly (although it could take a little longer at weekends), and there is an unconditional 56 day guarantee.

Best of all, the workouts are very easy to perform, and you will never need to go to the gym as everything can be done in your home, saving you more time to play golf.

This guide will give you the confidence to step up to a par 5, and know without a doubt that you will get there in two.

The Verdict: Fast and easy techniques; can be performed immediately and see quick results in your game - covers the essential dynamics of the golf swing and how to strengthen the specific golf muscles and produce rapid results - our top pick

2. Golf Fitness Challenge

Our second pick uses the same technology as our top pick, but turns it into a set challenge - and claims to increase your drive by 30 yards and decrease your handicap by an average of 4.6 strokes and comes with a 8-week money-back guarantee.

This is not so much a "guide" but a golf fitness course for those who feel they need a set challenge. This is great as it gives you a goal, and all the tools you need to achieve it.

The Golf Fitness Challenge really does cover everything, it is a very specific excercise, stretch and nutritional program. It also includes a huge amount of bonuses (audio tapes, ab workout ebook, and a 30 day free trial of GolfForFitness.com) arguably worth the cost of the course on their own.

All in all, its a great package which means you can be enjoying massive improvements in your golf game, very quickly. So why only four stars?

Well, perhaps we were spoiled by our top pick, but this course is a little more expensive than the last - and since affordablity is a key factor for some, we decided to knock off a star.

However if you are able to spare $99 and willing to set yourself a challenge, then we fully recommend getting your hands on this, as it covers all aspect of golf fitness to achieve your desired results with ease.

3. HardStyle Golf Conditioning

HardStyle Golf Conditioning is our third and final pick.

The difference between this and the other two sites was simple, it is not quite as easy to use, and this is guide is really for the more hardcore user that is willing to use a kettleball. The price tag is around the same as "The Golf Fitness Challenge" but in our opinion is not as easy to use for the typical user.

However if you are willing to sweat and you are looking for a more intense workout, then this could be for you.
